Ss is constitutional as per the supreme Court. I disagree with the ruling but that is the current law. If they sold it as a tax I'd be more inclined to agree with it but they sold it as a lockbox retirement fund. Yes it was a lie, yea we're too far down the hole to fix things. The government has the enumerated power to establish postal roads.

If anyone cares enough to actually read the federalist papers you'll see that the general welfare 'clause' is as an inaccurate argument as well regulated militia is for gun control

You keep harping about the founders, and what they meant about "promote the general welfare". You are ready to bow down at the alter of Madison. But, choose to ignore that Hamilton was founder and a federalist and held the opposite view of Madison. So even the founders disagreed on what promoting the general welfare was about.

So stick that in your Madison and smoke it.
