In my defense I've been doing a lot of cardio (5+ miles a week) which I'm now cutting back a lot in hopes of making better gains, but in still disappointed in myself for not maintaining a more proper balance.

In all seriousness though, I'd like to make good size and strength gains, but maintain being decently cut and keep the abs. I'm going to have to change something to accomplish that though.

You can watch what you eat so you don't need to burn all the extra calories consumed...

Fasted fapping works wonders

not at all. It sounds like something that's had to have been said before lol.

It can apply to anyone if we just say "in shape" instead of build muscle. It seriously made me say sh1t. I need to turn it up

Trash can if you want to get stronger and remain lean, you are currently the perfect candidate for an advanced nutrition plan. Pm me if you want help, I feel it wouldn't be lost on you since you understand food and cook a lot.

I always tell myself "don't be like everyone else". I honestly look like crap compared to some of you guys but I know when I'm out in the general public there aren't many 30 years olds in my shape/as strong/dedicated etc. That motivates me a lot.

My ideal physique:

Hockey player / Soccer Player

Me couple months ago

NHL player

Pretty much once I get to 10% body fat this summer, aesthetically I'll be pretty stoked.

Then it turns into more fundamental goals like:

Becoming more agile / explosive / increasing muscular endurance for hockey
Achieving following lifts at least 5 reps:

225 bench (180 present)
315 squat (250 present)
405 deadlift (300 present)

Essentially join the "1000" club (55 lbs off but I would get there quick)

I'm sure I will be extremely happy with physique at that point.

Edit: and master all the olympic lifts

Prefer the lean Soccer Player/Basketball Player physique.

I'd like to cut more, but my love for beer and bacon gets in the way. Thus, mostly trying to maintain...

Your physique is fine for the amount of muscle that you carry. Cut any more, and you're gonna look like this:

What would be great.....

....would be to see some current pictures of where you are, and what you're looking to achieve.

There fellas, I said it. Pics requested!

I don't like to compare myself to others, it is a dangerous road to go down

It's less of a comparison to others, and more about motivation. It's no different than buying a stock M3, but making somebody elses modified M3 your computer wallpaper to motivate you on your mod journey.

I have a physique in my head that is my goal, not really comparing myself to others. Just so happens its similar to that of a hockey player

Without goals you are without direction
