Brake line sizes

Anyone know if the brake lines from a 323i will screw into an M caliper? I tried looking up part numbers but they are different. I think because the brake lines themselves are different lengths but the threaded nipples should be the same size correct? I know the m and an e36 nipple thread are the same so I'm assuming they should thread right in but I'd like a definitive answer.
