Hk speakers???

I have to replace my rear speakers cuz they are blown,broken,dry what ever but they sound horrible so since I'm looking for replacements and all I keep seeing is HK so my question is would they work with a non HK system would I need to have the amp and anything else.

i think the HK and non HK speakers run on different ohms.

how bad is the old speaker? it can be easily repaired for cheap or you can find cheap replacement non HK on ebay.

Amps are different for the HK system, I think. I think one system runs on 2ohm vs 3ohm.

how about putting aftermarket speakers like polk or one of those aftermarket one does any mods have to be done
or is it plug and play?

Not plug n play at all. Search up on it. You will need a new amp, etc.

Unless you go BSW.. Those are plug and play

ok thank you guys seems like BSW is the way to go thank you all for the help and info.

I like the idea of the BSWs, too, but remember, if you have a Touring, the BSW kit doesn't include the mid-bass speakers in the rear.

No I have a coupe just giving some time to see if I can find some in here.
