Im not a fan of grilled fish. I like a nice crispy skin, so pan fried/pan roasted is the way to go for me. No real heavy sauces either if the fish is fresh. Just some herbs and a little butter/white wine for me. Sometimes I'll deglaze with a little soy sauce with a little garlic and ginger. Personal preference obviously. If Im cooking at my campsite, then I'll use one of these and roast it about 8" off the coals or 20" off the flame.

its a blast... i haven't been in a couple years but i caught a 62lb blue fin tuna off the coast of cape cod back in 2010. sashimi before we even made it to the dock. so awesome.

that sounds amazing right now

I would need to get a SERIOUS upgrade in terms of rod, reel, line, etc to be able to fish that kind of weight. I'd still love to try it someday. From the videos I've seen, it looks like a good time.

It's an absolute blast....there's also the hilarious added bonus of watching people get sea sick, lol. The only downside is it basically ruins you for non-ocean fishing (stream, lake, etc.). Last time I went I managed to snag a hammerhead shark.

I like white pizza as I sometimes get bored with marinara. A simple cheese with pesto is a good one. Cheese, Chicken with Artichoke hearts is also a favorite of mine. I've had the one you mention but I tend not to like warmed ricotta cheese. I get a good one from my local place that has cheese, potato, bacon and rosemary.

Maybe try...
Prosciutto di San Daniele which is slightly sweeter in flavor than Prosciutto di Parma.
Maybe a Mortadella would work too.

I used to free-dive spearfish a lot in H.S and during college breaks. Good fun, using a Hawaiian Sling type spear (in Hawaii). Would go at night and grab lobsters too. Shore fishing was fun but more for chilling on the beach, grilling and drinking with the gang.

only thing sketchy about spearfishing in Hawaii at night is the occasional brushes with tiger sharks...so we use a float to hold the caught fish and a loooong stringer line to keep it away from us lol.

Nice! But it cannot be... Just because I've been glued to the tv watching Wicked Tuna on the discovery channel ever since it came out. Smallest legal catch of Giant Bluefin Tuna is 73 inches long which is around 200lbs...

Maybe you ate an illegal fish? AWESOME! Seriously, catching that and eating it on the boat would be heaven. Maybe regular bluefin and giant bluefin are two different kinds of tuna?
