Yes sir. These 2 bukyaks reported me to the BBB because I charge the credit price for debit, when its clearly posted on the pumps and sign that debit is charged at the credit price. Both issues were resolved by the BBB in my favor though. I had to send them pictures of the signs and a letter.

What causes massive fluctuation in gas pricing that causes you to raise or lower? Example...gas where I am was $3.46 3 weeks ago. Now the price is $4.15ish. I could see the prices slowly climbing over time but sometimes it seems like the gas stations raise their prices based on the market and not on what they paid for the fuel that is in their tanks. Like if you paid $3.00 a gallon and all of the sudden there is a drop in barrels imported on the news it seems like that day all prices in the area surge. Frankly, I THINK it should be illegal because it comes across to me as collusion but I know it's not. Do you price your fuel based on what YOU ACTUALLY PAID or do you price it based on the market that day regardless of how much you paid?

How do you sleep at night?

You must be a liberal, since when was maximizing profit illegal? Companies do it all the time, just because its gas and people hate paying for gas and get all emotional about it, it should be illegal?

I bought some silver a few years ago for $12 an oz, but the spot price is around $29, should it be illegal to sell my silver for $29 because I bought it for 12?

Do you pump gas at your station for free? Or do you just pay it then since you get your money back later anyway?

I get my gas from my own stores yes, print the receipt and ad it to my expenses so register isn't short. It isn't free, it just doesn't come directly out of my pocket.

I'd do the same. How expensive is it to start up your own gas store?

I go to the gas station for gas, and convenience. Not to wait for the crackheads buying 10 scratch offs. Lottery shouldn't be sold in a convenient store. You wouldn't sell them at the pump, because it would be inefficient.

Just a thought.

I hope your not serious...Why would a gas station/convenience store sell something that costs them nothing to stock/process but brings in tons of customers who will probably buy other stuff and they make money selling the free inventory(i'm assuming they pay like nothing to sell lottery and make a small % of what they sell or cash in for winnings on large tickets).

Plus i've never had to wait much longer for this crack head to buy scratch offs then the person who buys drinks and chips adn coffee.

The way my counters are set up it pulls the lottery customers away from the rest of the customers, out of the way. Lottery customers are every day customers, and I cant afford to lose them. I pride my self on service with a smile, and the efficiency of our clerks with lottery (numbers, etc). You have to speak there lingo.

6% flat fee on all lottery sales. Thats for lottery/instant tickets, we have 42 days to pay off a book of scratch offs, and settle up the machine sales every sunday night.

6% return. There's other ways to bring in customers for 6%. There's always another way. Convenient stores in non-lottery states do just fine.
