Official E46's With 18's
One of the main questions about which wheels to put on has to do with size. People wonder, should I go with 17", 18", 19"?
So we can use this thread to get an idea of what our cars look like with 18" wheels and what we have to do to make them fit. Click Here For 19" Wheel Thread For those who have 18" wheels please post pictures, list the specs of the wheels/tires as well as the modifications (if any) to the fenders. Example: Wheel Specs: 18x8.5 et 35 front 18x8.5 et 35 rear Tire Specs: Achilles ATR Sport 245/35-18 front Achilles ATR Sport 245/35-18 rear Fenders: Rolled fenders. Shaved fenders. Pulled fenders. Widened fenders (mm or inches)

   Wheel Specs: 18x8 ET35 front 18x9 ET40 bag Tire Specs: 225/40/18 front 255/35/18 rear Fenders: Nada I rub a bit on bigger potholes/bumps unless I go reeeeally slow, and also when I have more than 1 person sitting in the rear  EDIT: Car is lowered on springs with 45mm front and 30mm rear.

Ok Domg here are my current specs.
I am currently running stock ZHP wheels on my boosted ZHP, i am dropped on H&R cupkit pretty decent drop. new coils are on the way tho. wheels which are 8" front and 8.5" rear in 18", and I'm running snow blizzaks that are 235/40/18 and 265/35/18. Pretty meaty setup but no problems. Next wheels I already have planned are 18" and will be 9" front and 10" rear or 9.5" square will definitely have to roll my fenders but that's for spring/summer setup. On my old sedan I ran 8.5 front 235/35/19 and 9.5 rear 265/35/19 m3 offset, had lots of rubbing but that was until I rolled my fenders was also slammed.

Front: 18x8.5 et30 225/40/18 -2.3 degrees of camber. Rubs plastic fender liner in aggressive cornering. Not a big deal to me. Rear: 18x8.5 et30 235/40/18 -3.3 degrees of camber. No rubbing. Lowered on function and form type 2's Sent from my DROID RAZR using Bimmer App |

Currently running 18x8.5 et35 vmr v710s all around wrapped in 245/40/18s lowered on an ics adjustable coil setup. I believe I'm at -2.2° camber up front but I'll have to check my spec sheet to confirm.
No fender mods and no rubbing issues. I don't have any pictures of it on the ground but I'll add some soon. Here she is in the shop 2 weeks ago.  Ps, pardon the rusty rotors in the pic, hadn't been driven in 2 months. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Bimmer App |
