OZ Ultraleggera's Custom Painted in BMW Individual Atlantis Metallic.
One of the very few 18" wheel setups that would clear my 6piston Brembo front BBK setup without the need for spacers.
I will be getting 15mm spacers for my rear wheels to push them out more. Rear fenders were rolled to accomodate my 19" wheel setup that I've now sold.

Thanks! The matte black original color unfortunately faded over time so I needed to get the wheels repainted no matter what. It just so happens that the Atlantis Metallic color is critical to my car/heart awareness efforts since the color is a combination of blue and green... blue being symbolic of open communication and green being symbolic of the heart, hence "open communication of the heart" which is what my heart awareness is all about.

It's all good. I had the contrast before when the wheels were matte black so this time I drew inspiration from my dad's '76 Benz 240d which had the color matched wheels as well. As I mentioned to the gentleman above, the main driving force behind my choice of wheel color was also for my heart awareness efforts (heart is mechanical and made of carbon fiber so I use my car to tell my heart story with all its carbon fiber mods).

I have read your story and it truly is deep and touching. Was just giving my personal opinion but I'm sure it looks great in person. Pictures can never do our cars justice.

Thank you so much! I definitely respect your opinion, my friend. To be honest, before the wheel repaint I wasn't sure if I'd like the color matched wheels for the exact reason you stated in regards to the contrast, but when you see the wheels in person they surprisingly look good color matched to my car. Bimmerfest East is coming up in a few months so that'll be a great opportunity for the folks here to check them out in person and reserve final judgement until then.

Navin, you should make those wheels carbon fiber overlay, something like $150 per wheel

LOL... no more CF overlayed wheels for me. I enjoyed my CF overlayed DPE wheels but wanted a change so I painted my OZ's Atlantis and bought some new CF OZ wheel centercaps to stick to the whole Atlantis/CF theme.

Your car is looking great by the way!

nice as always Navin but I agree that there is too much blue now. The wheels need more contrast. But that's just my opinion

It's all good, my friend. I had the contrast before when they were matte black but decided to color match them to the car. I'm loving the look so far and folks who didn't like the wheel color in my pics changed their mind when they saw the wheels in person, so it's all good. Blue and CF for the exterior theme... both on the car and wheels.

Charlie and I have the same lugnuts - Work RS-R open-ended 12mmx1.5.

Bought mine from Style 77 (http://style77.com/). Ask for Julius and tell him Navin sent you.

They come in red too.
