Removing grease smell

I recently fixed my sunroof, and I lubricated the rails so that it would not break on me again. Well, now the interior sort of smells awful. Since the rails are in the car, the smell can easily come out of the sunroof cavity. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of the smell? I had to use sprayable grease to lubricate the entire rail.

My Ride: 99 328i
sorry to rehash an old, old thread, but I just picked up a 99 328i that the PO did the same thing, and yes, I can confirm that it 100% smells horrible. any ideas to get rid of this smell. Is there a certain lubricant that should be used on the sunroofs that does not stink?
