Opinion? Orange indicators on carbon black m3

What's everyone think about it? Can get orange front, side and led read tails to go on my coupe for something different? Or should I just go smoked?

Yeah that's what I was thinking that's why I thought orange? With my car colour and getting a tint soon it could look cool in a different way?

I have smoked and I prefer them to orange. Had OEM white / clears on there originally - they are better than orange IMHO.

BTW, you must be bored or have too much time on your hands lately

Yeah I like it. But I think it works cos it's a nice contrast to the black and also cos he's running silver wheels. Not sure how it'll look with your darker wheels.

Here's another I think looks good with orange indicators:

Actually, just go for it. Something different is good

Yeah that's the only thing I was thinking about was my wheels but they aren't black so it might work I guess it's just a gamble haha.

Does anyone know where I can get the adapter for OEM LEDs as ill need one? Also do non m coupe front indicators fit m3s as some say they do others say they dont?

^ I think it's a clip vs screw in issue?

Clear corners would look good on your car and give it enough contrast to the dark wheels and body colour.

What LEDs are you taking about? Rear tail lights or...? IIRC there is info in General or DIY about what resistors to add in...

Yeah I found screw in ones just wanted to know if the sizes are different (I don't think they are but could be wrong) and I need the OEM harness to retrofit the OEM led tail lights as I found a set for only $200(amber/red style).

I'm looking for that different/aggressive look but not over the top and still OEM-ish

The sizes are the same for the indicators. The only drama is screw in vs. clip in.

Grab the harness from here

Nope, it's just screw in vs clip in. Coupe front is the same for pre-face.

Dig around the classifieds and lighting section. I am sure I've seen a DIY retrofit done without the harness.

Oh, and if you want aggressive, get halos and a front lip. If you haven't already, drop it a little and you're done

edit: nice find, Dean!

Judging by this thread, I must be the only person who actually prefers orange over clear...so the vote goes to orange for me.
