If its anything like Hatfield's and McCoy's or The Men Who Built America, then yes.

When does it start?

Tomorrow night at 10pm. I enjoyed both of those shows too.

VIKINGS - New show

Started last night on the History channel. I was pleasantly surprised. Has some potential.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2306299/

(In case you haven't heard of it, this isn't a documentary style show about Vikings. It's a scripted 9 part series, kinda similar to Game of Thrones)

Are they waiting for episode 2 to do some shark jumping?

I only saw the commercials. It looks like a recipe for fail... unless they have the right writers.

I was expecting it to be pretty bad, but it wasn't. Did you watch Hatfield and Mccoys on the History channel? It was decent and why I gave Vikings a chance.

I won't spoil the first episode, but it looks like they're not gonna waste time in getting the series going--when I think Vikings, I think of badass dudes sailing to other places and fvcking sh!t up. Looks like that's exactly where they're headed

I'm in on this one. Watched last night and apparently episode 2 is out today at history channel's web site, hulu, and xfinity's web site. I'm gonna watch episode 2 tonight but I like where the show is headed. I only wish that they could be a little more graphic with the sex and violence but i guess thats what you get with a cable tv show. I'm also glad that I can watch it immediately after walking dead and can see them both as they air and don't have to torrent one of them.

Yeah, imagine how good it could be on Showtime/HBO.

The preview ad with the music is pretty awesome. Only watched bits and pieces of the first episode and didn't see any action. Does the pace pick up a bit?

The very first scene is a fight scene. But, yeah it does.

From what i can tell from the first episode, everything it pretty historically accurate from the longboats to the weaponry.

I liked the second episode. I'm definitely gonna stick with this show through the entire season. When they were in the temple and started burning the paper...had the vikings never seen paper before?

My girlfriend wanted to start watching "The Bible." We made it an hour into the first episode before she said, "Let's watch it later." And we never did.

I think I might turn her on this instead. You know... something more historically accurate...
