Trac and Brake Lights after Steering Coupler/Guibo

Hi All

I replaced by steering guibo yesterday in hopes of finding tighter/quicker steering. It was a bit of a struggle but I did get the new one in. Hopped in the car to take a spin and I'm greated with the traction control and brake lights on.

I understand most likely cuprit is steering angle sensor, which I guess makes sense since I was working with the steering column and it looks like I'll need calibration. I'm not really sure why I'd get errors though. I've read plenty steering coupler DIYs and noone mentioned any issues with it.

Do you think I have any hope in hell of the system recalibrating itself given some time? I'm sure its just wishful thinking but hey you never know. I'll be ordering PA Soft 1.4 shortly but who knows how long it will take to arrive. Any other advise short of "go to dealer/indy to get it checked?"

Might clear by itself. If not, try disconnecting the battery.

It actually did on the way home tonight! I'm very relieved.
