Haha. Sounds like an awesome idea. We must think alike cause Im starting a v10 swap too, just trying to sell another car to Taylor the engine. I've done a fair bit of research if you need a hand.

Motor and flywheel???? Shouldn't that be in the wreck?

I'm going to us the factory flywheel and get npc to toughen the clutch up.

I won't be using a BMW box. Ill be to hard on it and replacing it would be expensive. But I've found the motor with an auto for good money. Waiting an inspection and photos of motor before I do anything

Adaptor plate and a TR-6060 Holden box. Parts are easier to come by, being a drift car it will cop abuse and a lot of it.

I had contemplated using the tremec, but i wasnt sure how strong they are, was gonna go with the e92 M3 box for simplicity reasons as it bolts straight up

I can't justify the what if I break one. To make a clutch fit is the easy just obtaining a flywheel will be hard

Cant see why you couldnt get one machined up, talk to Josh Coote at MCA, pretty sure they have made one up for their 370Z,

Oh, I mean a factory one, I have a bloke who can make one to suit a lsx clutch. I have a friend viewing the motor tomorrow for me so ill post an update with facts and fiction from what the owner has said
