Cool

Umm...I was asking about Xenon. To me it is the main option as you saying and it looks very good. So I was referring to the table you post in the end of your post which has bulb descriptions. And I did not see any 6000K there. Was just asking cause I need to purchase some 6000K with ballast for myself. Started with your post here

There are two 6000k xenon bulbs listed. The philips Ultinon which is very expensive or better quality aftermarket bulbs which are the Morimoto.

Thats the only option? damn I thought there would be more. You see, I would like to get good luminosity and I also like bluish glow, not clearly white..
Maybe you have any suggestions?

Nokya

Bought these 9006 Nokya 2500 yellows from an Amazon seller (autocouture) but the the part that plugs into the socket is a tad longer and so is the bulb. Did I get the wrong size?

I'm adding my bulb list as a complement to Jake's (I left the limited headlight info in it just to keep it intact). If anyone has anything to add to it please advise!

If you're replacing bulbs, you should be able to find what you need to buy, If you just need the size to know what LED's to order you could probably also reference the "wrong" bulbs in the last column, for example the notorious 1156.

Hello, I'm new here and trying to buy some replacement bulbs for my 328i. It has some aftermarket clear headlamp housings and they're 35w 8000k from what the bulb says. the control is a black box and says "Electronic control for XENON light bulbs". I just want to make sure whatever bulbs I buy will match the plugs that are existing.

You do have xenon lights. If you want original yellow output get Philips 85122+ bulbs from theretrofitsource.com For white, either Osram CBI or Morimoto bulbs in 5000k temperature

Thanks for the reply. The issue now is I don't know what brand of headlight housings/projectors I have. One person told me their not d2s and might be H1. How can I tell that and also make sure I buy replacement bulbs with the correct leads coming off them to plug into my harness?

I looked the headlights over and found that the projectors say DEPO on them. Can someone point me in the direction of a reputable retailer for bulbs that fit these projectors?

Hmm, if it's depo then most likely they use H7 bulbs. Can you take a bulb out and post a picture?

Quick question:
I just installed my Mtech II bumper and it came with fogs that have 9006 bulb types already in them, but I came from a facelift secan that used H11.
So what can I do to make these fogs compatible?
Is it as simple as just cutting the old leads and putting the correct ones on?

Okay my turn.... I just installed a set of Orion V2's 6000 and they look great, however, I still have the factory head/fogs, etc bulbs still installed... I didn't think it was going to bother me all that much, but it does... So now im lookin for a set of replacement bulbs of the same temperature to match the Angel Eyes... I want to see if someone has a similar setup and what they're using... Thanks for any input...
