No they will not. Tie rods are Xi specific.

Generally speaking, anytime there's an Xi only option, the RWD version won't work.

www.realoem.com It has parts numbers. If the numbers are different then they're different for a reason.

Pelican Parts is my usual go to for OEM parts. OE parts are always super expensive.

yea but oem seems to be the best way to go sometimes. was just wondering because the un removable outer ball joints can be changed. just wondered if there was a tie rod from a different model that would fit.

Length. I don't have measurements but you can probably search and figure it out.

Or go to the dealership and ask to see both but don't buy from there.

I used Lemforder which are the same companies that BMW pays to build the OEM units.

I bought Lemforder OEM inner and putter assemblies with the lock taper washers, lock nuts and taper nut for the outter.

They come pre assembled and ready to rock out of the box, my cost was circa 85$ per assembly (L inner and outter, another 85$ for R inner and outter).

Not going to find a much better seal than that.

Use the Realoem.com tie rod assembly numbers (just below the individual tie rod part numbers).
