I agree, those seals are real Viton. The seller is super nice and ships same day. I compared them to my Besian ones and they are better.

I've also bought the Single Vanos and they are the same material.

Just ask the seller, he seems to respond quickly via Ebay and from what I can see, he's sold 300+ with no negatives.
Do you own legwork, but it seems obvious that these are legit and high quality.

This is what I installed in my car and so far never had no problem. The o-rings I replaced were already brittle and hard at my cars current mileage of 80k. So I might replace it again in the next 50k if I still have the car at that time.

How....can you possibly conclude that by looking at them?

Wow, is this amazing or what. Just best to walk away from this one rather than trying to prove to someone who will not listen.
Testing labs all around the world are terrified now that no one will ever be using them again.

European standards for Viton are green, but not US. I have no idea why.

"Compared", meaning TESTED for what the composition of the material was, which was done and verified by a 3rd party.

True, most colors I've seen are brown, green and white, but you can make them any color.

Probably depends on the manufacturer. I've seen black, brown, and green. The black ones tend to look less shiny than other o-rings, but tha might not be a real correlation.

That makes me wonder though. The coolant temp sensors on these cars have green o-rings and those definitely degrade after a while. So will even viton seals require periodic replacement?
