Thanks. It's going very slow but steady. The car as is is very nice. Nice to cruise and nice to track. I LOVE the new trim. I had never seen it in person before. It's lovely.
Anyway, slight update. Getting parts in slowly to do a bushing/drivetrain overhaul.

I'm excited to see how these AKG sub frame mounts are. I do not plan on installing reinforcement plates with them. I think the bushings alone will provide enough protection. The contact patch is vastly larger than stock.

Nice job so far. That's a lot of rust

As far as angel eyes, how did you mount yours? Mine have clips that clip to the top of the headlight reflector bowls but they're not centered and I don't like how that looks

it was a little rust in a lot of places. as well as a couple dings. it's all good now

Yeah mine have clips as well. They are the "cheap" umnitza ones. I hot glued the clips to secure them better.
As far as centering, mine are centered pretty well. Maybe it's just the brand you purchased. I didn't do anything special to center mine.

Mine are the Umnitza brand. If I clip them on, they aren't centered and if I center the one over the low beam projector, I don't know how to center the one over the high beam. Seems like a loss-loss situation but oh well :/

Btw, which angel eyes are not considered the "cheap" ones?

seems like they don't sell mine anymore. they were something like $70 with a lifetime warranty. the v2 or v4 are the nice ones.
