I have a Joyetech ego-C. It's large, much larger than a cigarette, but the battery lasts all day. It's a tank system so you fill it up and vape. Don't have to worry about buying new cartridges.

Those blucig things aren't bad, that's where most people start. I have one somewhere. There are a TON of different types of vaporizers and even mods for them.

Check out altsmoke.com That's where I got my 0 nic liquid from. They sell the ego-C too. Check out grimmgreen on youtube.

And about Chantix... It hasn't made me suicidal. Dreams are more vivid, that's for certain. I have trouble falling asleep and the wife has trouble staying asleep. My personality hasn't changed and neither has my wife's. It kills the craving, though. Makes them taste weird as ****, too. Just leaves you with the habit itself.

It's always a bit of a shock when I discover that an otherwise intelligent-seeming person is a smoker.

Start with the eGo. Buy a few batteries and a charger, don't get a kit. Then, buy some Low Resistance Cartomizers and the e-juice of your choice and you're all set. The eGo is the best way to start e-cigs.

Then, you can graduate to Variable Voltage custom mods if you really get into it. I'm currently using a ProVari and an Innokin MVP. I also make my own e-juice and it saves me a ton of money.

The reason I say dont get the kit is because it comes with atomizers, instead of cartomizers, and they're more of a pain to use for a n00bie.

Another good option is to get some eGo Pass-Throughs as they charge via USB... http://www.madvapes.com/ego-510-pass...h-37-volt.html

1 co-worker who has smoked his whole life (he's in his 60's now) swears by these, and my friend's brother uses them too

If you insist on getting a kit like this, just go for the generic brand, they're all the same at a fraction of the cost...

I'd also heard there are refillable ones.

If you have suggestions I'd love to hear them.

Thank you!
You can quit, you just need a reason; that reason's your son, companion, and your loved one's. Everyday that you smoke, you're one step closer to abandoning them, and they'll be without a father, a friend and a husband. Imagine them suffering everyday without a shoulder to cry on, a certain someone to go to when they need it the most, that person can be you. I hope that helps. Just a little reality. Quit.

That's addiction for ya. I have always thought it's crazy that cigs are legal. We get nothing from them that I know of; we just have to have nicotine. I remember getting pissed when a report came out years ago finding it as addictive as heroine. Once I heard that, honestly, it offered some odd confirmation to me; that it wasn't me being seemingly stupid, but that it was our gov't and the power of addiction. I'm so smart, I figured that out!

I envy your view from your perch. You stay there...fine by me!

Thank you, UDM. I can't disagree. It's a horrible addiction. Only thing I can say is that everyday, every one of us is closer to death. The time I'm giving up...in my mind...is a few years at the end...when nothing much will probably be going on anyway!

I honestly don't understand why cigarettes are legal...other than knowing there's a lot of $$$ spent ensuring that they stay legal.

They stay legal because without all that tax revenue from cigarettes, we wouldn't be able to funds all those awesome studies that we learn so much from like shrimp on treadmills or robotic squirrels.

All about the money.

I understand where you're coming from. In the end, intelligent people are still people, we all make dumb choices and we all have our flaws.

I feel the same about anyone who would make a comment like this.

Listen, who knows what we can learn from shrimp on treadmills?

By the way...I'm getting used to the e-cig. It's odd, but has great potential.

Everytime I light it, though, it smells funny.

My father quit smoking recently...then the cancer he developed from years of the tasty smokey-butt killed him.
Smoking makes your teeth and fingers stain yellow.
Your breath smell like death.
Your clothes/home/car smell like an ashtray
And WHO wants to give that up??? Damn

mmmmm satisfying
