E46 E9X M3 style wheel

I have recently bought a e46 facelift 2002 325i sedan. I have an e46 m3 so Im kinda familiar with e46's but granted I would like some feedback and help with my dilema. I have a 2002 325i sedan w/sport package currently running 225/45/17 all around. I want to upgrade so I was thinking of getting the Replica E9X M3 style wheels. They are staggered with the size 18*8 in the front and 18*9 in the rear. The offsets are ET38 in the front and ET40 in the rear. I know with a 225/40/18 up front and the 18x9.0 ET40 with a 255/35/18 in the rear this will NOT cause any rubbing issues. I was wondering what other sizes are an option for me? Could I run a 245/40/18 in front and 265/35/18 in rear? Whats the best option and would I have to roll my fenders. Pics would be greatly appreciated.

I have a couple guys running Alzor 716s (similar style to what you're looking at) in 18x8 ET35 and 18x9 ET40 (found HERE) wrapped in 235/40/18s in the front and 265/35/18s in the rear. They haven't complained of any rubbing issues.

My Car.

Best fitment is 225/40/18 front and 235/40/18 rear. Don't even think twice.

I'm considering getting the same rims (716). I have a 325xi Touring (sport and premium packages)... since it's an x do I need to stay with non-staggered? Also, what's the thickest spacer I could put in with it?

With an xi you CAN run staggered set-ups, you just need to make sure the tire diameters for the front and the rear are the same. If you want to play it safe then just go with a squared set up!
