Are you a female? That makes your car look like some 14 year old girls highschool car. If your a male and did this then we now know your preference in men

That's a pretty stereotypical comment, not to mention homophobic. Let the flames begin.

[QUOTE=Mango;15249382]that explains it.[]

Just because im 16 doesn't mean I'm incapable of being mature with my car. I don't get funded for anything from my parents. I had to pay for my car which I've been saving up for for 5 years, and i currently have a job which is solely for e46 upkeep. I pay for gas, insurance, and repairs I do myself. I've replaced the entire cooling system (ET, water pump, t-stat, upper lower rad hose, and the radiator within the last few weeks, ive done the VCG, OFHG, rear shocks, cleaned the ICV, and seafoamed the engine. Many more things to come!

I am young but I have the great responsibility of owning an e46 and once and a while ill have some fun like the sharpie thing.

^ I don't think Mango was knocking you being 16. We all were at one time. It's just that, if we had your talent, and did something like this, the design would be different, like fish jumping out of a stream, or naked ladies, etc.

Right. You're allowed to be 16 last time I checked. Before you posted this though I was thinking to myself who draws on their car? A teenager. Trust me, when you're 25 and up, you won't be doing that stuff. It's a part of growing up I guess. Honestly though at 16 I don't think I would have drawn on my car though I did do some pretty silly mods on my cars when I was 18...

I don't know about that Mango. I personally think its not about age but who you are and your personality. there's grown men with custom vinyl wraps on there cars. If this kid loves art and is proud of his work who's to say when he's 30 he won't draw custom work on his trim ! It's really all personal preference. just my .02

Of course there's always going to be exceptions. The majority of adults don't draw on their cars.

yeah, even at 16 i can see how this could be looked down upon by adults. but i was mostly doing it for fun. i think ill end up wrapping it in CF or doing something to make it a bit more pro looking.

I think it depends on how artistic they are. And our OP has proven that he's quite talented.

I wouldn't try to hold back Calder, Hockney, Warhol, Koons, Stella, et al.

I don't mean to belabor this, but man, give the guy some credit. "Before your other plans"? Not sure what that means. Every artist finds a canvas. The more creative the artist, the more unexpected the canvas. And the more I see it the more impressed I am.

Again, I'm pretty conservative when it comes to what I put on my car, so I might not choose my own vehicle as a canvas, but I have to say, this is pretty amazing stuff.

Ah, sorry. Thought you were talking in big-picture life terms or something.

That looks way better than overplayed CF wrap.
