Tires sizes for style 68

I recently bought a set of style 68s an I want to get smaller tires from the front wheels, what size would you suggest? My car has a pretty nice drop to it so should I stretch tires or just get a smaller profile?

I was thinking about running 205/40R17. Maybe too small?

You could do that, its all on your preference I like a little more meat on my tires but not too much, if you go too small on 17 inch wheels it wont fill up the wheel-well that well

What about 205/40R17 for my front and rear? My fronts are 17x7.5 and my rear 17x8.5

That would work, it'd just be skinny and low.. I'd do 225/40 up front and 245/45 in the rear

205/50/17s right here on my winter setup, not sure if there's a difference whether it's winter or summer tire's.
