But yeah. What that woman says is ridiculous. Idgaf if the gun pointed at me is an ar15, scar, fal, or a hello kitty shot gun. They're all gonna scare me equally as an intruder. A "scary" looking gun is a weak sauce argument. Put devil horns on a 9mm and you've got a scary looking gun
oh lol!

No

1. The definition of "assault weapon" is arbitrary and political
2. Second amendment doesn't have an asterisk
3. I trust the people in power far less than fellow citizens

How come when a civilian owns an ar15 it's an assault weapon but when a leo has one its a personal defense weapon?

I do not support it. I don't believe its the governments role to restrict what I can own or how much soda I want to drink.

I doubt that you believe that in all instances, but it does sound good!

That's it! You must be voted off gun-owner island.

The gun grabbers consider "assult weapons" low hanging fruit. Dont think for a second they are stopping there, its just the first step. ****stien has said that already.

It will slowly wash out the supply of new rifles.

I don't know and I don't care because it doesn't affect me. I don't know how I can phrase this any other way. I'm not a gun enthusiast. One can own a gun and not be super into them, just like one can own a car and not be super into them. If they took away the ability to own a gun, then I'd be mad and would have a logical problem with that.

It'd be like if they restricted consumer cars to a maximum certain horsepower. A lot of people wouldn't have a problem with it, and it wouldn't really affect a huge amount of people since your average car doesn't have a huge amount of horsepower. But as a car enthusiast, I would be pretty up in arms about it. Just like if they took away the ability to own a gun, if they took away the ability to own a car, I'd be really mad about it and have a logical problem with that.
