Question about coilovers

Hey guys !

Im selling my car but i want to sell first my coilovers.

They are the KW K1 Inox for the Xi models.

A friend of mine own a e46 330ci cabrio and i wonder if my coilovers that i bought 2 years ago will fit into his 330ci cabrio ?

The rear are the same but the front i dont know about the front...

BTW : What is the main reason that they cannot fit ?

The xi front suspension geometry runs shorter sturt/spring assemblies than their rwd counterpart to allow room for the front axles which pass below them.
