M3 SMG Engine Oil change. Help

So I recently picked up a 2002 SMG M3 and decided todo my first oil change on it. I thought this would be pretty straight forward but turns out its different from my friends old e46 6spd M3. I took off the cap and found no drain plug. Next I removed the reinforcement plate to find this... I wanted to verify that I am in fact looking at the engine oil drain plug. It's looks like it requires a HUGE allen socket. Any insight? Or is this not it...

Thanks for any help!

That is the oil pan... I have no clue what that circle plate is either. I took off the plastic plug thinking the drain plug was behind it but its this plate thing.

I was thinking that allen bolt above it is the drain plug?

You're in the right place, just looking at the wrong thing.

Look here.

Directly to the right of the round part on the oil pan in relation to your pic, there is a small Allen bolt. That's the drain. I can see it when I zoom in to your pic.
