Car will not stay running

I searched and can't find exact symptoms. 2004 330i zhp, the engine was warm. Car started but will not stay running if I let go of the gas or even press the gas. The engine will not rev when I press the gas. After a few tries, everything is good. These happened on two separate occasions. This problem only happens after start up. I have now driven 160 miles and issue has not reoccur. No CEL or fault codes found. Is this a sign of failing fuel pump or something else? I'm planning on doing engine tune up.
