WANTED: E46 M3/Sport Steering Wheel

I'm looking for an M3 steering wheel for my car. It must have the radio and cruise control buttons.

Will also consider the Sport steering wheel for the right price. (its the same style, just a couple small differences)

Not interested in outrageous asking prices, or significantly worn wheels, please and thank you. Let me know if you're selling!

I have a very clean sport wheel with airbag that I might be selling. Do you need both?

Unless its really cheap, I've decided against the sport wheel.

^ PM me a price for a complete wheel please and thank you. Airbag missing is OK.

Rant: People are getting greedy these days. Think back to 2007 when an M3 wheel was $305 BRAND NEW from BavAuto.
Anyone planning on asking $600 for a 11 year old used wheel can take a hike (please and thank you)

Yeah, but its also getting hard to find clean Steering wheels. Supply & demand sets the price. That being said, fair proce is 200-300 depending on condition

Check the old treads in this section and check our sponsor's prices. A new M3 wheel will set you back from $500 to $700 and a worn used one with shiny and worn leather and scratches on the trim will be about $300 give or take. That's with the trim and no air bag. These units sell so that sets the price. Supply and demand.

I wanted one and looked for several months and found a like-new one for more than $300 but less than the $500 to $700 for new. I love it. Like I said, search the old threads and see what the going price is. If you want one in good condition, the price is not cheap.

Sport wheels are much cheaper. I saw some in this thread recently for $75 and up. Good luck which ever way you decide to go. My sport wheel was nice, but the M3 wheel is ummmmm.

Seller from this forum has offered me a new wheel for $300.
I've also declined a used M3 wheel with airbag for $400.

I don't dislike my current wheel, its just the only piece left to complete the interior sport package.

That seems like a great price for a new M3 wheel at 300 or are you pricing the sport wheel. A good condition M3 wheeel with air bag for 400 seems like a fantastic deal unless the wheel was badly worn and scratched trim. And you declined? What price are expecting to pay for an M3 Wheel? A sport wheel? Good luck with purchase and let us know what you got and show pics.

Um, the M wheel is nothing like the Sport wheel. The M wheel is smaller in diameter, much thicker, and feels completely different. The differences are anything but small.

I'm well aware of the differences. Thank you for your valuable contribution.

steering wheel swap

Hi fellas I hope someone can help I'm looking to upgrade the steering wheel on my '01 330xi. There is an '08 M3 steering wheel available from a local auto import parts place will I be able to swap mine for this year of steering wheel? And if not what are the available options? My steering wheel is the square look with square airbag. Thanks!
