Anyone have timing tools in bat area? Rent/Sale?
I am doing a head swap on my 330i and am looking to use/rent/borrow/purchase the tools. Let me know if you are willing to part with them in any fashion.
Thanks! |

i honestly think you dont need it. just remove the rocker arms sequentially and so the cam doesnt snap. just put everything back the way you pulled it out, the timing tool is really for the gears inside the cams that need timing. but if your using the original cam it doesnt really need to be timed. just have the crank at TDC and remember the markings.
of course you can go ahead and use the tool, but youll see that you can have done the job without it.
