Illuminated door handle lights

Hello,

I will be doing the install for the illuminated door handles in 2 weeks. Basically retro-fitting the lights of the E90 door handle, to the same exact spot on the E46

The DIY will be up after this is complete should be an interesting mod.

I believe it will be like that.

There is but not on here... That DIY is not extensive either.
I just world like to make one specific for the 330 ci

i thought that DIY was pretty extensive. of course this was after i had already done it (picture above is my car). then i read the DIY lol i guess if you want to further point out the wiring or something.

the DIY for here is using a small LED vs. using the actual OEM E90 unit. totally different in output IMO

Those LED should be at 12v already... correct? I should technically be able to hard wire them and they should be ready to go and dim with the interior lights... if i am understand correctly. I will get the parts in from the shop tomorrow and double check it tho.

yes. they already have resistors/drivers built in.
