Buying a barrett m99

Found one on arms list... $3k but I've got to drive a couple hours to meet him half way. Hopefully this is not going to be a ghost.

So far this week 2 baby brownings, 1 saddel ring carbine, 1 nighthawk enforcer II, a cz 52 and now another fifty..

A well placed shot with the aid of API or mk211 rounds and yes I could see a single shot forcing a chopper down.

I've had a fair amount of experiance with fifties. This one will just be a range toy for a couple weeks before I flip it.

I was (kinda) joking.

Police sources told The Post that Kelly and Browne were referring to Barrett .50 caliber rifles that can be mounted on most police helicopters. The bullets can rip through cockpit glass as well as fuselage, and their force has been compared to that of a bazooka.

Depends on the ammo 3-8$ a round is not uncommon. Higher end ammo like mk211 and slap rounds can run $75 each.

This is the expensive stuff:

and my other fifty.

Welp, guy backed out of the deal 3 hours before I would have picked it up.

Fuckin coward wasted 3 days of my damn time, changed the price 4 times and then backed out of the deal last minute.

He started by asking $3400 no scope with case and 75 rounds of ammo.

I asked him if he would take $3000... At first he said no, 6 hours later he accepted my offer...

A few hours later he "thought about it" and said $3400 for the package or $3000 minus the case....

I said $3000 for case and ammo, he turned me down... several hours later he accepted my offer yet again...

This morning I got a email saying that $3000 now does not include ammo...

FINE, how much do you want for the 75 rounds of ammo..... $3.36 a round ($252).

So I accepted the offer.... At this point I'm not sweating a couple bills.

Several hours later he texts me.... says he cant take THAT much of a loss.

By this point I almost gave him full asking price. I'd put a round through the engine block of his jeep at 3 in the morning followed by a text "gun shoots great, Thanks again..."

BTW...

Best to use a different email on your dating and "yay or nay websites"

Gunshop = $1000+ over street value.

If you can find one in the 3k range I'll be all over it.

Actually, I want to say they were under 3k. Not positive because they had 2 barretts and 2 armalites. Saw them on the top shelf on March 2nd when I hit the range to shoot my m91/30.

Great!

Find out, not to interested in the ar-50 but a m99 is up my alley.

BA-50, m82, m107 price dependant.

I liked the BA50, a friend owned one and I stored it for him for quite a while before he traded it (bad trade IMHO) for pvs-14 NV. The NV setup is cool and all but the price has droped and the fifty has gained.

It was one BIG gun though.
hehe watch the girl grab her ears down range...

Well since you know a lot more about the 50s than I probably ever will and you know what you're looking for, give them a holler tomorrow. By far one of the best indoor ranges I've ever been to.

I've not called them yet. I found a couple really good deals and I'm waiting to see if I win them.

My total goal is to go after a NICE USGI or factory colt m16.

Thats what there selling for now.

Heres a SP1 conversion, a rather poor one at that. Note the crude dremel work inside the sear pocket. 15k reserve not met.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=332599604

I'm looking for a higher end m16, no conversions preferably USGI. Something like this.
http://www.westernfirearms.com/wfc/m...=67&sz=800x600

How much did you pay for yours david? Is it matching USGI or a factory colt?
