Damn direct injection, the dealership said they'll media blast the intake valves? Hm looks like it's time to speak with my service advisor.

that's what I hate. Every douche with either a 350 or g35 will throw an exhaust on and think it will destroy everything.

He wanted something cheap to toss around for a year or two before getting a 5 series or whatever so he bought this fusion. We haven't had any problems with it since we bought it (CPO), and I must say its extremely comfortable from not only a driver's but also a passenger's perspective. It's quiet, has LED's, Sirius radio, and everything's leather. Although I like the Aston Martin looking front end of the new Fusion, it's rear end just looks far too feminine for my taste. I prefer the bolder, more intimidating appearance of the 2011-2012 Fusion.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I'd put the Fusion in the Accord/Camry level of excitement. The 2013 one is sexy, but also brand new and thus out of contention.

Yeah, I was surprised when they said that. They never gave me much sh*t, but also didn't go out of their way for me either. I was told they couldn't find what caused my CEL and I might have to pay the $120 diagnostic fee rather than the $50 deductible to fix the problem. The following day he came back with that and I was happy to hear it. That and two leaks that were fixed puts the car in great condition for resale!

I'm thinking a 2006 Lexus GS300. That's before they switched to the 3.5L engine and the newer nav. Maybe I could get it for a low enough price...

I thought I'd love it, but they feel very boy racer and videogame-like when I drove a few.

My brother used to have one one of those newer Si's. I actually really enjoyed driving it.

Try finding an 07 (first year) IS250 or 350.

Neither of the IS models are that impressive.

E36M is fun and can fit your needs if you put in the work that the old car needs. I'd expect to spend an additional $5k over purchase price to get most e36ms fixed up to a semi decent state. Once its there though it fits all your nneed. Tons of fun and i got one instead of a s2k because it actually has enough room. I even have Bluetooth on mine!

Some people mentioned the Si. My brother has a stock 2010Si, GREAT daily driver

My Ride: gone...
I would go with lexus, super reliable dont have to worry about anything besides oil changes till 300K miles, i drove GS350 for couple weeks....soft, quiet, comfortable...and I wouldnt worry about mileage as high as 100k...its a Lexus (not European lol)

I'd go with an s2k or an e36M. A nice s2k will be easy to find. It will be hard to find an e36M that hasn't already been driven into the ground.

I'm also in search of a new car and those are the two i'm considering.

If I didn't have such a long drive, I would get a pickup.

I would rule out a wrangler at that price range and if mpg are a big factor.
