m3 e46 US/EURO diffrence exhaust

HI, im gonna buy a m3 now in a few weeks, first is to replace exhaust.. I emaild bimmerworld about a race and a street/track exhaust. The Race exhaust conects at the headers(replaces muffler, xpipe, and spipe, and the Street/track conects at the end of s-pipe(replace muffler and xpipe.

They say to me that both systems are made for us spec m3, and will not fit my Euro (live in sweden) and gonna buy a swedish sold m3 or german import. As i get it the Race system that i conect to the headers will fit (but ofc take away my cats that are placed in the S-pipe, but the street exhaust will not fit (conect at the end of s-pipe (on EURO cars conects to the cats). My questions, are the locations of the "cuts in the pipes" diffrent on the US/EURO m3 ? i mean then you never know if your x, or s-pipe is gonna fit ?

this sound strange to me that the header conection is same on the EURO/US but the conection on the xpipe to the S-pipe is not. sounds strange, eny thoughts ? and at ex. ebay, there just says fits all m3, dont dunderstand, explain ?

sorry for my bad english

They're probably just covering their asses. Muffler is identical. Section 2 (x-pipe?) is identical. Where you guys have your cats, we have our "s-pipe" with one resonated pipe. Then of course the headers are different.

Most importantly however, the connecting points are the same for each part. So if it fits stock US hardware, there's no reason it shouldn't fit stock Euro hardware. The race exhaust might be loud since Euro headers don't have cats.
