JL stealthboxes

Any info or feed back on the JL audio stealthboxes and what amp 250/1?

I had them in my e36 w/ only a 100watt mono alpine and they sounded like sh@t! I don't know about the e46 but for mine you loose your rear mid range speakers.....that really sucks!!!!

I got them like a week ago. I'm not an audiophile but to me it is such a big improvement over the HK subs. If you want just some bass and not something window shattering, I'll recommend them since you get to keep the trunk space.

You do loose the rear deck speakers (I guess the midranges) but you won't miss them.

Do a search on the stealths here... I did and decided to go with them... They arrive in a day or two...
