Can my Bmw Handle this?

I have to drive my bmw about 50 miles to college 3 times per week and its on the freeway, i usually cruise 65 all the way there, a couple times this past week a newer bmw wanted to race me to houston so we were cruising anywhere from 70-95 all the way there, can my 2001 325i with a 3.0 swap handle 90 for 20-30 minutes at a time?
Also wondering about this when im going to take a trip across the states, i like to drive around 85 and set the cruise on, can it handle that for hours on end? the engine only has 65k on it and it runs smooth, just wanting to make sure, my rpms are sure up there, running 90 i'm doing about 4k rpms.

As long as you are not going 90 with the 3rd gear, it wont have any problem at all

That would surely do damage, my 5 speed 325xi is redlining in 3rd gear at 80 mph!

Probably not. These cars were made for the autobahn where the speed limit is 55. So I doubt they can handle such high speeds like 90.

You can drive 90 for 30 minutes without getting a ticket? I am moving to Texas!

You're just kidding, right? In fact there is no speed limit on the Autobahn in most places. But the european models have taller gearing.

90 miles an hour is 140 km an hour. Serious? In Holland and Germany we are cruisin with that speed all the time. You are not going to break anything.

We've done nine coast to coast summer round trips in my car and we always drive thru Texas on I-10 where the limit is 80mph for hundreds of miles. Set the cruise control for 85 and sail thru the radar traps without them blinking.
This car was made to do that all day long.
Remember in the 330 the rear end is 2.93 with a six-speed.

These cars are made for the autobahn where you cruise at high speeds. The pick up may not be spectacular in our e46's but once they get up to speed there is no problem

Shoulda got a six speed! My car is plenty fast enough to push you back into the seat and feel like you're getting there. Short of a drag racer, it's fast.
That 3 liter kicks.
