Compund turbo S54 kit?

I may fabricate a compund turbo kit for S54. (this compound will be tested on my M3 coupe, a genuine M3)

As far as I know compound turbo kits tend to build boost at very low engine speeds.

I guess 15 psi @ 2000 rpm

How does a compound S54 kit sound?

Would be keen to see this. I've wanted do do a LS compound turbo setup. The only problem is compounding needs lots of engine bay space. I was thinking about it for my ute cause its laggy being a manual but I'm going to test out the quick spool valve that I think sound performance do first and see if that makes a good difference

qsv failures are common. I ve talked to several safe sources and been told that qsv simply could not stand the harsh working environment.

be carefull....

Andreas PPF Sweden did it(if i remember correctly) a while ago with a Euro S50B32,it didnt work out for him.
Maybe you can contact him why he changed back to a single turbo?

I have never done a compound kit but I did do a custom sequential kit.

T4 flange titanium version ( i have launch control).

Have you guys ever considered an electronic type or actuator so you can trigger it by revs instead of boost?

Allan, just put a turbosmart wastegate selenoid and trigger it depending on engine speed or any other parameter.

Yeah but it's still limited to boost at the end using the vacuum actuator. An electronic actuator you could do whatever you wanted with no limitation
