2014 Lexus IS and IS F SPORT

See video:

Thats one crazy-ass grill!

I think BMW wins all the way.

I think the e46 sport seats look more sporty than this lexus 2014 range!

I was never very impressed with ISF models - doesn't compare as being the M3 of the range ... too expensive and too little extras over the standard IS.

Meh...it's ok. The rear looks like and updated version of the mid-2000's Acura TSX to me.

Don't like this new design- but Lexus is doing big things. I'd buy a GS over a 5 series, and I'd buy an LS over a 7 series.

Actually- on second thought I can tolerate the exterior styling. I'd like to drive an F-Sport and see what the new "sportier" Lexus image is all about.

Grille is very odd, though I like it overall. It gives it a very "supercar" look.

Have to admit, the IS does have very cool dash cluster!

Edit: Okay, they give it electrostatic temperature control, but the temperature control cluster is a shitty, 1990s LED display? Come on. That's so tacky and cheap looking.

Two things...Why did she have to point out such a pointless feature like a push to open fuel cover? Really? Really lexus? A push to open fuel cover is that sporty and revolutionary that you had to waste everyone's time pointing it out...

Secondly...Anyone else notice how the Lexus grill is basically a hitler moustache?

License plate on the front is going to ruin the look of the front of that car.

Front end aside (which is hideous btw), it looks like it'll be a decent car. The interior looks great, very modern and very simple.

Good review:

All that aside, I'd still be looking at a CLA or new CTS before I bought one of these.

You mean ATS? The CTS is much bigger isn't it?

I dunno, I looked at the IS, CLA, and new CTS at the New York Auto Show last week, and none of them really worked for me.

The lights on the IS look ridiculous, the CLA styling is a little overdone (and the rims look cheap as hell), and the dimensions of the CTS look off, with a HUGE backend that isn't flattering in the least..

I mean the CTS. I sat in an ATS at the MN auto show and it was too small. To be completely honest, a TL would be at the very top of my list if I were in the market to buy a car. Reserved styling, awesome tech package, reasonable price, great AWD system, and a 6spd MT...not to mention a good sized trunk and space for 4 people.

Both are better than this thing in terms of exterior design and the CLA AMG would be the one to get.

The video looks a lot like a dealer review video for salesmen, so that might be why they pointed out everything
