New car....I've become a bogan (not really)

Well since the m3 is gone I had to get a more family suited car but I still wanted some sort of car that was fun to drive. Well I test drove a bunch this weekend and ended up with this

2009 Clubsport with complete xforce exhaust and headers, intake and tune. Pushing 290kw at the wheels so it's certainly fun

So no longer a BMW driver for the first time in my life, but I have to admit Holden made one hell of a car. It must have been the American in me wanting a modern day muscle car, that V8 sound is amazing.

Ill still hang around here though, always entertaining to see what goes on.

I don't like muscle cars but I do like the VXR!

^ yes it does. Because we make 'em and ship 'em to you. At a discount

Oh, and... bogan-mobile

j/k. Congrats - you will enjoy it!

A good mate of mine is a doctor from the UK. He was tossing up between a Euro and HSV. He went with the HSV on the basis that living here was his chance to drive Aussie cars especially a V8, something he would never be able to do in the UK. So far... he's loving it. Even the 'bogan banter'

Haha thanks guys!!

I've noticed the amount of attention you get from bogans in utes now is crazy, and now literally any young bloke wants to try and go at the lights :s. Guess it doesn't help living in the northern beaches haha.

Yeah it's a great car though and so much torque. As soon as I saw it I had to get it, got it from an Audi dealership as it was a trade in there. 39,000 KMs on the clock and came with a 3 year warranty and capped price servicing for 3 years. They wanted $42k and I got it for $37900 drive away so I'm happy

Ill take more pictures tonight and post them up

Has Mozart been replaced with AC/DC in the CD player?

Just kidding, I'm sure I'll see you around once I'm back on the road.

LOL more like the whole cd player removed!

290kw atw sound like fun, nice colour, as subtle as a HSV can be.

Holdens with a chev engine are good. Cheap to mod and easy power. My bogan ute is a daily and makes 1000rwhp and the whole thing owes me $40k

Oh I was unaware you had a ute with 1000rwhp

You should tell us again, but maybe in another thread just to be safe?

It was a reference to how much power you can get cheaply with these things and not everyone reads sigs.

But just so you remember I have a ute that makes 1000whp yes 1000whp

I wish. 1000kw is like 1340hp. Well actually it would be about that at the engine now
