Which car should I sell?

I have a '01 740 sport with 134,000 miles, a '01 M5 with 157,000 miles, and a '04 330 6spd convertible with 122,000 miles. Looking for UNBIASED opinions on which car I should let go. All cars have no major isues, and are paid for. Help me!

Massachusetts --> Convertible --> least used car by far? With best resale of the three?

Are maintenance costs an issue? is the M alot more to maintain?

Sell one of the 4 door cars, I dont know if you have a family, but, if you do then, the 4 dr car you keep can be the family mover. Then on the weekends, or when you want to show off the lady, you ride the vert.

I'm a sucker for sedans. You should keep both of them.

I have a '05 Dodge Grand Caravan too, so that is the family mover. And to top it off, my life partner has a '01 740iL that is loaded, her daily driver.

I'd dump the 7-series, I've never been a big fan of the styling.

Yeah the 7 series is going to be the least valuable. It's going to rapidly be declining in value too with it's age.

^+1. M5 and 330 6spd have higher demands than 7ers.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback. The 7 cost me only $4000 last fall, so I may hold onto it for long trips.

I hear you on the seasonal issue, it sits for 5 months usually. Thanks

Well you asked opinions and you got them. So now I guess the parameters are different. Convertible can be driven with the top up, but if you never use it sell that one. It's a good year and a 330. It should sell no problem. The M5 is a lot to maintain and if it's an auto you should ditch that one then.

I say you hang onto the e38. E38s are rapidly becoming modern classics. They have unique BMW styling and many modern conveniences. A well maintained 740 sport is still desirable. I say keep your M5 and 7 and ditch the vert.

I can't do that. Keep the vert. My opinion. The others are hardtops - useful in the winter. Summer is coming. Do what makes you happy - I'm not sure why you care about what internet thinks. But since you care, keep the vert. Seems like you have the practical covered. Keep whichever makes you most happy.

Never owned one but I think the 7 is a little dicey with regard to reliability. It would be the one I dropped unless I really needed the people hauling capacity.

Oops on the auto M5 thing. I forgot they are only 6 speed. Ditch the 7 series or the M5 then.
