hi I have 3 question, if you guys dont mind answering.
1. is this a good power inverter http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?...=296&catid=393 if not can you recommend one to use with a game system. 2. whats the best 10.4" lcd available 3. is it possible to add a second battery to an ICE to power the heavy stuff like tvs, subs, amps, lights, etc in the trunk? or can the second battery be connected to the main battery. therefore making the entire car and ice run off of two batteries?

-Yes, that's a decent inverter, but what do you need 1250 watts for? Tripplite makes some of the best ones, probably around $75 for what you need to power.
-The best 10.4" LCD for mobile applications that I have seen so far is the new Icon piece -If you want to add a second battery, no problem. You will just need to get the battery, and a battery isolator. Basically what you do with the isolator is take the main wire coming from the alternator and run it to the center post of the isolator. Then the two outer posts are for your 2 batteries. Definitely the way to go when running large systems....not really necessary for running video and stuff, but high powered amps, especially when using multiples, it works wonders for. |

thanks Ron, here is what my setup will consist of do I need 2 batteries or is one enough?
xbox, alpine dvd system, alpine tv tuner, JL 300/4 and 500/1 amps, two JL Audio 10W6V2, 10.4" video display in trunk, four wireless cams, video recording device (still looking for something other than a vhs that is really small and compact) lights, intervert i think thats everything.

One battery is DEFINITELY enough, but I would recommend upgrading the factory battery to something more reliable. I have found that the factory BMW battery isn't as powerful as it could be and can lose its charge very rapidly. Never the less, one battery is fine for what you are running
