I would have bought it just for the hard top alone and parted it out.

Will prove you wrong. I've been driving the car for two month with no issues.

If you can find a clean title 2001 E46 convertible with a hardtop for less than $2500.00 after repairs, let me know. I would definitely crush this one.

Like I mentioned before, I have easy access for parts.

That was my original plan, but when the car arrived, it was in such great condition that decided to fix it.

PS: I'm sure you have everything figured out but I'd replace the oil filter housing gasket while everything is off. It's only a $10 part but a pain to get to when everything is on the car.
Thank you for your support. I did replace the oil filter housing gasket along with the water pump and related cooling system hoses. Of course a new radiator was installed as the car didn't come with one.

I did the work with the help of a good friend that has a body shop. I used the shop's equipment. We had a spare E46 Vert to take measurements from. Measurements where taken from shock towers to front rails from opposite ends.

If it was straight, the hardtop alone has to be worth quite a bit, right?
The price of the car was less than what you might have paid for the top alone.

Usually when people use the term "Hater" they're a homosexual.

Are you a homosexual?

Oh wow. I was not aware that using the word hater makes you a homosexual. You seem to have a lot of experience.

All these negative waves! Sounds to me like a cool project. If the alignment comes out to specs, that's most of the battle right there because the front suspension is not adjustable except for toe.

Hey, my opinion is that a slick shifting auto is nice. When I was in high school my buddy had the nicest and fastest car there and it was an automatic '67 Mustang fastback hipo 289 with a shift kit installed (kinda like a step in sport mode). That car was amazing.
