From an investment point of view, this is extremely scary

If I made $1M, I'd pull out and just be happy to have made quick easy cash. I just don't understand how something like this can continue, at an exponential rate, when there's already a predefined amount of bitcoins that can be mined.

Also, there was that ASIC hack which let people mine at 60,000 Mhash/s; which could very well be the cause of this spike? So what happens if there's a fix, or all of the blocks have become mined?

LTC prevents ASIC hacks, but it's based on the same concept as Bitcoin? I just don't understand how something can continue to rise when there's X quantity AND the ability to continue mining.

That's like me saying, hey... I ONLY have 10 oranges but you guys can work forever to get pieces of the oranges, and I'll never run out

Well- the mining of BTC is pretty much over so it's just supply/demand at this point (as I understand it). Halo himself said BTC mining is no longer profitable.

I did that, I configured it and everything, but whenever I start CGMiner, it crashes. "cgminer.exe has stopped working."

Make sure ALL of your drivers are updated. That is critical. Make sure your config file is configured properly. Try googling? Your information to me is minimal. I will update the OP later with Reaper information. You can try that later.

So wait, is this liquid earnings as pre-tax amounts in a bank account? or X amount of LTC = X amound of USD?

How do you report these earning for IRS purposes?

I am running cgminer. I am using the java program that helps optimize the cgminer batch file.

What's going on with my setup? I do see on cgminer thst its 442 kh/s average on cgminer.

How kuch "coins" should I expect a day, a month?

If I had fully understood how to mine, efficiently... and all of this is in fact 100% legit, money producing.

Then what the hell is stopping you guys from buying a shed and hundreds of computers to replicate your success?

If a computer was making me $2,000/week (with me not having to do a single damn thing), then I would have already cleared out BestBuy and would have installed solar panels on my garage door to keep costs down.

no?
