So I've gotten to the point with this car where I'm sick of constantly worrying about small problems. I purchased the car in November of 2011 from a private seller. Mileage was around 112,000 when I bought it. A month later after buying it, i changed the transmission fluid. The following march, i flushed the coolant changed the thermostat and upper radiator hose out. This past december I got new tires, and re did the headliner in suede. Last week I replaced the expansion tank.
Currently sitting at 132,000 miles.
Most of the coolant system has been overhauled, besides the water pump, radiator, and lower radiator hose.
Clutch still feels good.
Has clears all around
No saggy headliner.
The gas gauge never shows the correct reading. I use the MPG gauge to guestimate which hasn't done me wrong, but I just haven't figured this out, and don't want to mess with it.
There is an oil leak. I'm not sure where but there is definitely an oil leak.
Slight shaking some times when braking. Seems to be coming from the front right wheel.
Paint has lots of small scratches and a few blemishes/dings. One of my biggest pet peeves. Car was wet the day I bought it so I missed most of this when I looked at it
Rear as of about a month ago. (Nothing has changed except pollen season now)
Interior when purchased
small odds and ends:
It has M floor mats and shifter from the previous owner.
also have a duo iPod hook up. Hooks up straight to cd changer wiring. Controls through steering wheel or iPod
Here is the option sheet emailed to me from BMW HQ

Looks good, GLWS.
For your problem, gas issue is fuel level sensor or fuel pump as it also has a sensor to detect fuel level built in as well, both located under the passenger seat, easy to replace and inexpensive part. Many DIYs on the forum.
Oil leak issue could be Oil filter housing gasket, Valve cover gasket or CCV, again, the OFHG is $5, VCG is $50 with the seals for the bolts, CCV is a little but more, I belive about $150-180
Shaking could be warped rotors, tire, rims, a few possibilities there.
For the paint, polish it.
What I'm trying to say here is your issues are very minor, especially on a 12 year old car, if you want $6900, ATLEAST fix the first 3 problems you listed, and you could possibly receive your asking price! Again, GLWS!
