Door seal

This is my first post. I have gotten information on this Site to repair the cooling system and the valve cover gasket. This is a fantastic resource, even got info on suppliers. I used OEM Bimmerparts and found the service to be very good, of course I haven't driven the car yet so that opinion may change. We're just at the end of winter here and I'm looking forward to taking the car out.

I have a 2004 325ci convertible and am hoping someone can help me with info on how to change the door outside weather strip. The seal I'm talking about goes on the top edge of the door under a chrome strip and seals against the base of the door glass. My guess is that the glass has to be removed which according to my Haynes manual is a job best left to a dealer. I'm sure I don't want to pay that price for cosmetic work. I'd be grateful for any help anyone can give including where to buy the seals.
