So im looking for a good pair of angel eyes for my e46 with the remote on/off feature. I have a budget of $130-$150 max. Anyone have any suggestions for what kind I should get?

Thanks

Khoalty has them for 130. By remote on/off I'm guessing you mean by locking/unlocking the car?

It's easy, you just run a wire to the same circuit as the interior lights so they fade on/off.

yes, you just poke through the grommet in the firewall and connect to the floor light for the passenger area under the glove box.

Can you have that dimming feature if you don't have footwell lights?

Ok we'll I bought my set off of eBay for $100 and had then for over a year now and absolutely no problems what so ever. They are LED and have 78 in the small ring and 84 in the large ring. They are similar to around 5000k color temperature so they give a good contrast with my halogen headlights and black headlight housing. I know the umnitza ones are a lot better but I like how mine look

I'll be ordering Khoatly myself once I get my paycheck on the 15th. Price is hard to refute for the light output. They have a video comparing their older version to Orions and the brightness and durability seems the exact same for less.

Is is just me or wiring them to the interior lights would mean that the angle eyes are only on while the interior lights are on??

Nope, the interior light wire is on an auxiliary circuit. Once the car is on or in accessory mode (first key position) the angel eyes will be on untill you turn the car off.
