New H7 bulbs, now a DRL issue...

Hey guys, I just recently changed my H7 halogen bulbs to some 2500k Ebay cheapies. The bulbs work fine but when I did this I used my 1.4 scanner to turn my DRL's on and they are not working, instead my side markers come on as DRL's. My brights work fine so I know the bulbs are OK and I put my DRL setting to EU (Euro) so that's set correctly. Is there anything that would prevent them from turning on that I'm missing?

Best I could tell you is a ballast communication issue. Assuming you did use a ballast when they were installed

No ballast, just a basic halogen bulb. I have just single xenon lights. Tomorrow I'll change back to the stock bulbs and see if the bulbs are the issue. Me DRL's worked with the stock lights so we'll see

I put the stock bulbs in but no difference... I can only see 2 options for the DRL's which is US and EU ... I put it on US and no lights light up. Put it on Euro and my corner lights light up, but not my high beam DRL's... WTF!!!
