mine had tons of power comfort, etc. not a performance car by any means.
i traded it in for this. not my pic

My Ride: 2001 M3 Coupe
Probably my E46 M3, even if the reliability and quality leaves me a bit disenchanted (too much stupid stuff breaking, failing or going wrong that would be unacceptable on any car and are totally unrelated to the high performance aspects of the M3).

A close second would be my old '94 Ford Probe GT. While obviously not possessing nearly the firepower of the M3, it was nonetheless delightful to drive with a perky, creamy gem of a little V6; sharp, sure handling; superb ergonomics and interior design; and remarkable utility -- all wrapped in a fine, clean and refined exterior design. All quite reliable too without all the basic stupid stuff that goes wrong with the M3.

My current car. 2002 330ci. Although, I've had to fix a few things; it's always ran, and never left me stranded.

What're the performance numbers on the V? How does it compare the the M5 (which it's trying to compete with)?

My 2007 335i. Had some fuel pump issues and was not as nimble as my e46, but it was really fast (had a tune), comfortable, and easy to live with every day.

Did you do any suspension work on it?

I had a 96 850 R and I'll agree on the speed but I always thought the handling was kinda lazy. I loved the sound of the turbo whine over the growl of the 5 cylinder.
