330i automatic track?

Whats up e46fantics! I own a 2002 BMW e46 330i auto and ive been itching to go on the track with it... ive heard mixed opinions about whether the car can withstand the "punishment" on the track...

Currently the car is sitting on ST coilovers, everything else is pretty stock! Been staying on top of maintenance considering the car has 152k miles on it, no sign of any mechanical issues & car still pulls strong!

Many people have told me that the tranny (ZF) is going to break & what not?! i wanted to hear your guys opinion or any recommendations ???

Thanks!

Are you ready to put a new transmission in the car? If not, then you probably should just sell the car regardless.

Go for it.

But no one is going to tell you that your torque converter may not be shot after a year or two of track days.
