The best car alarm is to not park your car in a place where it can get stolen.

Car alarms are the most annoying and ineffective things on the market.

I will second SamDoe1! 95% of people don't pay any attention at all to a car alarm going off. Why spend the money that can be used elsewhere? Even with a car alarm, a good car thief will break-in and steal whatever they're after or drive the car away.

I think factory alarms as they are plug and play if someone breaks into a car and the siren goes of 9 out of 10 they are going to run plus I have a factory alarm for sale for $165 shipped
