What is your thought on this car, not asking price!

Really want to get into a garage queen M3 to have for the nice weekends. Trying to make up for not being able to buy one when they were new.

http://www.carsauto.com/2005-bmw-m3-c-822.htm?

What bothers me is the amount of owners in such a short time.

Sure would like something like this, as I feel it will keep its value as there are less and less low miles cars.

Thanks for your input.

The car looks like in was kept in good shape with very low miles, you should still definitely get the ppi and the only other thing is that it's an smg and hopefully that pump holds for a long time, but a very nice car.

Suspicious IMO...even more reason to get a thorough PPI on it.

Looks clean yeah I also question amt of owners but could be a lot of reasons why 2nd owner parted with the car; family, lost job, needed bigger car, etc.

Crazy low miles..looks like the car was prob sitting around for its lifetime..all the owners prob did the same thing you want to do..had a weekend car, got bored, sold it because it had low miles and good resale value..id personally beat the hell out of the smg engine on the test drive, see what happens

have inspection 1 done, have them check to see if inspection 2 needs to be done, and when it needs to be done. BMW recommends inspection 1 at 30k and inspection 2 at 60k, and every 30k thereafter.

Sober mods:
-nice looking Dinan wheels.
-looks like legal tint.
-seems a little odd for the seat bolster to be worn like that, but it's small (clumsy driver?).
-I personally would prefer a manual transmission... but many would not.
-could use silver bulbs in front turn signals and painted or clear front bumper reflectors.

that's what I think.

Carfax shows 5 previous owners. One guy only owned it for about a month.

i'd also check for other Dinan Mods besides the wheels. those are all a plus.

as for the carfox. looks pretty clean. i wouldn't be too worried about the owners. looks like it may have be made a personal vehicle by one of the dealer employees/wholesaler employees for a few months, for two of the short-term owners.

See if they can go down to 25K. 29K might be a touch too high now given how many years have gone by. TiAg is probably not the most interesting color, but the car looks real good. There are a lot cars with around 75K miles but still with very clean interior that are around 18 - 20K. I think you'll be just as satisfy driving a 80K miles car as long as it is in decent shape.

25K was my price, but seller is set at 28K. The original owner outfitted the car with Dinan wheels, struts, shocks, springs, sway bars and endlinks. The only thing the PPI said was the oil should have been changed.

They did not test the compression or check the frame mounts.

I wonder how many times oil was changed on that car? Technically, given only 11K miles on the car, it didn't really need its first oil change. Personally I would do oil at least twice a year regardless of number of miles driven.
