Do you smoke in your E46?

Do you smoke in your E46?

A lot of people cringe over it, my family and friends give me hell for smoking in such a nice car, but I smoke in mine... a lot lol. Nothing better than a fresh pack of Newports and the ultimate driving machine. And that funky BMW cabin odor keeps my car from reeking.

Yes, but i end up having to vacuum it once a week or so. Also, yuck, Newports? Are you black?

No.

Smoke an E-cig or be prepared to take $2-$3k off the resale value of your car.

Lol, nah just like a good menthol cig. I used to smoke Marlboro Reds, just like the taste of Newports. I vacuum mine out a lot. I also use black ice air fresheners, that helps a bit.

I smoked plenty of cigars in every car I've owned and none of them have had a lingering odor. As long as you have a leather interior and aren't running the AC/fans then you're good to go.

No. Sorry, I hate that stale cigarette smell, I'll take the BMW odor over it any day

Both my E46 and my buddies do! Both 2002 model year. I smoked heavily in the car, so does he in his, but that smell was always much more prevelent. Has to with something BMW puts in the cabin filter I believe.

Lol nah, I paid for mine.

Not really cool, some people just made the mistake of starting young and getting addicted. This thread is getting off topic, lets try to keep it on track. I think we are all aware it's not "cool" anymore...

Next response, you should enlighted us on health effects

It is the adhesive used for the sound deadening... Not the cabin filter. VW has the same problem.
