Most of their N54 cars are manufacturer buybacks for either turbo failure or high pressure fuel pump failure. One of my coworkers snagged a 2008 E90 335i with 40,000 miles for (drumroll, please) $18,000. Manufacturer buyback because of the high pressure fuel pump. As a 135i owner, you know the warranty on it.

Sounds like a deal to me.

Makes sense. I know a kid who had his dad call the dealer to let his son test drive a new Silverado. Sure enough, there are pictures of him and his eleven year old sister driving around in a $45,000 pick-up truck by themselves with dealer plates on it. As you can imagine, he never bought the truck.

Test drove the c63 amg when it first came out. Hit about 120, sideways on an exit ramp. The salesmen was thrilled lol. His last name was mclaren too oddly enough. He knew I had no intention of buying it. Still let me kick the tires tho

Test drove the new Tundra a few years back. I was never a fan of their trucks so I decided to go test drive one. I was honest with the guy. Told him I was a Chevy guy and wanted to see what all the hype with the new Tundra's was about. Guy went into full salesman mode. I prob won't ever buy one, but they are well made trucks.

Nope, it was a 2010 4.6 car. Had a few things done already and was the premium model. It was too expensive for me at the time so I got rid of it. Awesome cars though.

I went to test drive a Focus ST as well recently, do want. The 330 felt like a big POS after driving it.

A little suggestion to everyone. Go test drive the new m6. It is insane. I personally feel if optioned the right way it's as good as a Ferrari interior wise. Performance...it's pulls relentlessly. BMW got their **** together with that car. And honestly I'd take one over the Audi r8 v10.

I've driven both, the m6 is like a Bugatti compared to the r8 in the way it pulls. It's pretty much BMW's supercar. De-limit it and tune it (turbo engine ftw) and it will be stupid fast...

Now only if I had an extra 100k laying around...

How easy is it to test drive a car? Say the f10 m5... Just walk in and poke your head around like you are interested and ask if you can drive one?

My buddy worked at an acura dealership so I'd stop by and take cars for a test drive while we smoked a joint. Those were the days!

Looks, personality, negotiation. If you're going to drive a car that cost more than most people make in a year and only rich people can buy...you gotta play the part and be bery good at bullsh!tting your way into things. If its on the showroom floor forget about it they will want proof you can afford it.

They probably won't let you drive an f10 m unless you put money down. Just like they won't let you test drive a showroom new m3.
Once they start getting used you can drive one.
